MICHAEL MADRON, LCSW - GRIEF, LOSS, AND TRAUMA THERAPIST IN PENNSYLVANIA

Some of the heaviest things get carried quietly.

If you have been holding something for a long time and have not found the right place to bring it, start with a fifteen minute phone call. You will be talking to me, not to a front desk.

Michael Madron, Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Therapist, and twenty four years in the Air Force before that.

Does any of this sound like you?

You do not need all of them. One is enough of a reason to call.

HOW I HELP

What we would actually do together.

Grief and loss

A spouse, a parent, a child, a friend of fifty years. Sometimes a career or a body you counted on. We talk about the person or the life you lost, not only the feeling.

EMDR for trauma

A structured way of working with old memories so they stop showing up in your body and your sleep. You do not have to narrate every detail for it to work.

What your life is for now

The harder questions, worked through with acceptance and commitment therapy and existential work. What you still want, and how to move toward it while it hurts.

The room Mike sees people from, most mornings and afternoons.

ABOUT MICHAEL

Twenty four years in uniform, then this.

I served twenty four years in the Air Force. I watched people carry a great deal in silence, and I learned something specific about where loss and old fear end up living in a body.

When I retired I trained clinically and spent years at the Philadelphia VA, doing grief and trauma work with veterans and their families. It taught me more than any textbook did, and it showed me what a big system cannot do.

I left the VA and opened a small practice. Fifteen people a week, all by video, all across Pennsylvania. I am not building anything bigger than that.

I am direct. If I do not think I can help you, I will say so and tell you who might.

WHO I WORK WITH

Veterans and first responders.

If you have watched friends die, done work most civilians will never see, and you are tired of explaining yourself to someone who does not get it, you will not have to explain much here.

Older adults in a season of change.

Most of the people I see are in their sixties, seventies, and eighties. Grieving a spouse, adjusting to retirement, watching their bodies change, sorting through what a long life adds up to. I move at a pace that respects that.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

Nothing complicated.

01

You ask for a call

Form or email, whichever is easier. I call you back within a day, at a time you picked.

02

Fifteen minutes on the phone

You hear my voice, I hear what is going on, and we both say honestly whether this is a fit. No charge.

03

We start, weekly, by video

Fifty minutes, same time each week, from your own chair. You do not have to drive anywhere.

HOW TO REACH ME

Ask for the call. That is the whole first step.

I make every one of these calls myself, usually within a day. Most people write to me after months of thinking about it, so there is no wrong time to do it.

FEES AND INSURANCE

I do not work with insurance. My sessions are $100/hr.

Nothing fancy happens next. I read it, and I call you.
